- B.Sc. NURSING -4 Years. Vimalalaya College of Nursing: Recognized by government of Karnataka by (MED MMC 2023 dated 13 – 09- 2023) , affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences, ( RGU / AFF/ VNC/ blr/ Fr. Bsc (N) 2022 -2023 ), Karnataka nursing council ( KNC 2213 – 2023 24 ) Bangalore and Indian Nursing council-by 18-15/16317-INC dated 16/04/2024.
SYLLABUS AS PER THE INC AND RGUHS .
ADMISSION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The minimum age requirement for admission shall be 17 years as of December 31st of the year in which admission is sought, while the maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
INSTITUTIONAL HEAD.
OBJECTIVES
- Graduates of the BSc Nursing program will be fully equipped to provide professional nursing and midwifery services across a variety of healthcare environments.
- Our curriculum places a spotlight on providing promotive, preventive, and restorative health services, a harmonious alignment with national health policies and initiatives.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Candidate with Science who has passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and should have passed in English.
- Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
- English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
- Candidate shall be medically fit.
- Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
- Students are admitted once in a year.
- Medium of instruction – English and Duration – 4 Years
- Selection of candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination conducted
by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for Admission to B.Sc Nursing each year.
ADMISSION STRENGTH
Maximum intake of students will be 40.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE (INSTITUTIONAL LEVEL)
a) Candidates can download application of Vimalalaya College of Nursing (Online Application Form ) from 1st May 2024 from college website.
b) Candidates should submit the duly filled application form in online along with the requisite documents on or before 31st May2024
c) Application to be accompanied by scanned copies of self-attested photocopies of the certificates

Vimalalaya College is closely connected to its parent institution, a multispecialty hospital equipped with 200 beds. This hospital offers a wide array of departments including Medical, Surgical, Pediatric, Gynecology/Obstetrics, Dental, Neurology, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and Urology, all supported by comprehensive facilities. The College of Nursing itself occupies an independent structure with over 25,000 square feet of space, designed to support an immersive educational environment.

Beyond the hospital, the college extends its network to include both government and private hospitals, enhancing the clinical education of our students. Moreover, our training is enriched by real-life exposure through placements in community health centers across both rural and urban settings, providing our students with comprehensive experiences in diverse medical environments.
HOSTEL ACCOMODATION
Our campus features dedicated on-site hostel facilities exclusively for female students, designed to provide a safe and comfortable living space. Accommodations for male students are conveniently available just outside the campus, offering a range of housing options. In our dining hall, we primarily serve traditional Kerala-style dishes, but we also recognize the varied tastes of our students from different regions. The Nursing College has a well spacious playground where students can practice various outdoor games. Sports day will be conducted annually where students participate, through a healthy competition in their sports events.

ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE
Vimalalaya College of Nursing is an anti-ragging campus. All forms and instances of Ragging in the campus is prohibited. To address and curb any menace of ragging, Vimalalaya College of Nursing has constituted the anti-ragging committee which is displayed in the college and hostel notice boards. Students can report through any means and instances of ragging to the institutional ‘Anti-Ragging Committee.’ Students in distress due to ragging-related incidents can contact National Anti-Ragging Helpline
